LPI Now Offers Online Certification Exams
In response to the closure of many of its global testing sites, the Linux Professional Institute (LPI) will offer online tests to candidates.
LPI will begin offering the Linux Essentials and LPIC-1 (101 and 102) exams in English through the Pearson VUE OnVUE system on May 31, 2020. Candidates will be able to take the exams and obtain certification from home. Additional exams and languages will be made available as soon as possible.
Candidates will be able to schedule their online exams starting May 31. More instructions about the registration and testing process will be published at https://www.lpi.org/coronavirus.
Prices and duration of the exams remain unchanged. For more details about our exams and exam process, see here
Prof. Uirá Ribeiro
Chair do Board do Linux Professional Institute
After years of watching professionals waste hours on simple tasks because they didn't know the right Linux tools, I decided to teach.
Today I'm the author of most of LPI's official Learning Materials and mentor to over 14,000 certified students.
That was just one piece. The course teaches the whole path — from your first command to exam day.
